The High Meadows Foundation

The Mission of the High Meadows Foundation is to support the development of environmental science and policy; to support environmental sustainability; and to support a community of human interest through collaboration, inclusiveness and common values.

We fulfill our mission today through support for programs, education and research at Princeton University; programs and policy advocacy at Environmental Defense Fund; programs and advocacy in Vermont through the High Meadows Fund and the Permanent Fund for the Well Being of Vermont's Children; and through programs and operating budget support for North Bennet Street School, the Food Project, the Ah Haa School for the Arts, Isles, and Harvard Business School.

The High Meadows Fund

Established in 2004, the High Meadows Fund seeks a better Vemont for Vermonters through support for programs and organizations dedicated to clean energy and sustainable land use and agriculture.

The Fund is a supporting organization of the Vermont Community Foundation (VCF) and is managed by a six-member board of directors, with administrative and technical support provided by the VCF.
